Acer introduces new Nitro 16 and 17 laptops with RTX 4000

Acer has just introduced a new series of Nitro 16 and 17 laptops with capabilities to run today's cutting-edge video games. These new Acer Nitro incorporate 13th generation Intel Core™ processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 GPUs.

These 16- and 17-inch Acer Nitros come with a more compact, thinner, and lighter look, with a higher screen-to-body ratio. That, without sacrificing power and performance that the most demanding gamers want in their laptops.

The latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs powering these Acer Nitro models feature the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. This provides a quantum leap in performance and AI-powered graphics over the RTX 3000. This gives you more efficient ray tracing, massive performance boosts with DLSS 3 upscaling technology, and an edge in gaming. competitive cut with Reflex software.

Acer Nitro 16

The new Acer Nitro 16 gaming laptop comes with a 5% larger screen area than its predecessor, and an enhanced 16-inch WUXGA or WQXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, which enables dynamic switching between the graphics processor integrated in the CPU for a discrete performance or the GPU of the GeForce card, in order to choose the graphic quality that we want and save battery when it is disconnected from the current, or use the maximum performance.

Comes with a backlit keyboard RGB 4-zone technology that maintains brilliant colors with 100% compatibility with the sRGB color gamut and an improved 84% screen-to-body ratio for a more engaging viewing experience.

Acer Nitro 17

Equipped with processors Intel Core HX up to 13th generation, the Nitro 17 weighs less than 3 kg and a volume of 400,20×293,25×27,9/28,9 mm. In its 17,3 inches come multiple screen options: an FHD screen, with refresh rates of 144 Hz or 165 Hz; or a quad high-definition (QHD), with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. It does not lack a large touchpad, an 81% screen-to-body ratio and a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard to add an extra dose of style to the gaming experience.

These new Windows 11 Acer Nitro laptops include models with up to 32GB of 5MHz DDR4800 memory and up to 2TB of M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Both laptops also come standard with one month of Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, giving gamers access to hundreds of popular PC titles, so they can instantly tap into their power with cutting-edge games.
