AMD Ryzen 4000U / H will not be complemented with high-end graphics because of Intel
The arrival of the AMD Ryzen 4000U and Ryzen 4000H processors are starting to hit the market. These new processors promise to be a tough competitor to Intel processors. At the moment there are still a small number of laptops based on these processors on the market. Frank Azor, Head of Architecture for Gaming Solutions at AMD, has said that this will change in May.
Intel would presumably paying manufacturers to mount their processors in their laptops. The thing with these new processors from AMD could be different, as long as the manufacturers bet heavily on them. But they have encountered another problem, delays in distribution due to the coronavirus. The great strength of these laptops, in addition to performance, will be the price, below $ 1000.

Despite being good, AMD Ryzen processors have a big obstacle
The biggest problem with these laptops will be that they arrive associated, at most, with mid-range graphics. To date we have seen these laptops supplemented with RX 5600M graphics or with RTX 2060 graphics. Apparently Intel has an agreement that prevents the implementation of higher-end graphics, such as the RTX 2070.
A user has asked Frank Azor why there are no Renoir processors (Ryzen 4000U / H APUs) associated with powerful dGPUs. Azor's response could not be more forceful: "You should ask your favorite laptop manufacturers that question"
De facto Azor would be confirming the 'agreement' between Intel and the manufacturers of gaming laptops. This would confirm rumors that Intel would be 'paying' laptop manufacturers to mount its processors. We do not know what role NVIDIA plays in all this, but it is possibly little, because what NVIDIA wants is to sell graphics solutions, regardless of the processor integrated in the laptop.
