ASUS RoG Ranger BP3703, the first laptop backpack with RGB lighting
The ASUS RoG Ranger BP2019 backpack is seen at CES 3703, the first on the market to incorporate RGB LED lighting
The invasion of RGB is total, we just have to remember that last year there were cables for power supplies with RGB or chairs for PCs. This fever, when we thought that it could no longer jump, has taken one more. The latest comes from ASUS, who has shown a backpack with RGB at CES 2019. This RoG Ranger BP3703 features the logo and a RGB illuminated strip. It also has light effects, internal light to see what is inside, a port to charge the smartphone and removable pockets.

The logo and the LED strip can be illuminated by patterns, which are selectable thanks to a controller, located around the right strap. Interestingly, it is not compatible with ASUS Aura Sync. This means that we will not be able to customize it from our computer.
The RoG logo with RGB lighting could not be missing on the controller, which follows the same pattern of the LEDs on the front. Perhaps the interesting aspect is the internal lighting. Sometimes it is difficult to find what you want inside the backpack, if you carry a lot of things.
For lighting we need a portable smartphone battery, which is not included and that we must buy separately. This is put inside, the USB connector of the system is added and the light was made. It also offers the possibility, without disconnecting the lighting, to charge our smartphone or tablet.
The Ranger BP3703 is a useful backpack to transport laptops up to 17 inches, a tablet, pounds, pens and anything else that we want to put in the backpack. Also note that it will arrive in two versions, one without lighting in April and one with RGB will arrive in summer. Perhaps worst of all is the price. In ASUS they emphasize that the final price has not been decided, but will be around $ 170. An absurdly expensive backpack for having a 'gaming' logo and RGB lighting.
