Intel shows Tiger Lake-based folding laptop concept at CES 2020

Foldable smartphones, at least Samsung's, have been a real technical disaster and are absurdly expensive. Despite this, it seems that manufacturers continue to bet on flexible devices. This is the case with the Horseshoe Bend project, a 17-inch laptop powered by Intel processors. Emphasize that the company has not allowed anyone, except the employees of the brand, to touch the laptop.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has been a disaster, having a minimum durability of a few hours. A disaster that has forced its launch to be delayed several times, even to launch it in a very limited way. This technology is still quite green and is absurdly expensive, Maybe in the future it will be more polished, but for now ...

Intel Unveils Foldable Laptop at CES 2020
This seemingly flexible laptop is nothing more than a concept that is under development. It's apparently a somewhat larger version than the 1-inch ThinkPad X13.3 Fold that Lenovo has shown us. The screen is larger than other similar versions of this technology, making it especially striking. They are 17 inches foldable, something that makes it much more manageable.
Horeshoe Bends curiously has a separate keyboard, somewhat similar to Lenovo's X1 Fold. Note that the keyboard was not operational, but they emphasize from Intel that the idea is to transform it into a workstation.

From Intel they emphasize that this system makes use of a 10nm Tiger Lake processor. These processors have been shown during CES 2020 and we don't know much about their technical characteristics.
Curiously, this Intel prototype is working with Windows 10 Pro. It seems that the company would have been asked if it had been developed to support Windows 10X. This operating system has been developed by Microsoft precisely for folding systems. The company has not been able to answer if it will implement Windows 10X in the future.
