The InWin at CES 2020 It has been the craziest thing we have seen in time. The company has presented us with three chassis, each one more crazy. We have a kind of mix between a trash can and a laundry basket, a chassis that looks like a backpack and a disco ball. Of course, if they wanted to give the cante, they have succeeded.
The InWin Alice chassis is a plastic box which is lined with a fabric that prevents you from seeing the inside of the box. This chassis is not new, since it had been seen in the past as a prototype, although now it seems to be ready to be launched. Along with this is the InWin B1, which is a sort of backpack with legs. The craziest is the Diéy Signature to commemorate the company's 10th anniversary.

We are talking about a really simple chassis that is based on an ABS plastic structure to make it lighter. The only metal part is the area for installing the motherboard and holding the graphics. It simply does not have side and front panels, it is covered with a fabric made of polyester.
It has dimensions of 584x282x433mm and a weight of 3.7 kilograms, which makes it very light. It supports ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboards at a 90º angle. Supports heatsinks 195mm high and up to 300mm long. It has bays for a 3.5 ”drive and for three 2.5” drives, as well as supporting up to 4 120mm fans.
Perhaps the worst thing about this chassis is that it does not offer connectivity of any kind, neither USB, nor jack for sound. The power button has been hidden behind the fabric, which makes it a bit cumbersome. Regarding availability, this chassis should already be available for purchase and has a surreal price of 70 euros. Very expensive indeed, for being that it is made of ABS plastic and a piece of cloth. There are much better and more eye-catching solutions for this price with RGB and tempered glass.
InWin B1, a chassis that wanted to be a backpack
We go to a chassis that looks like the typical backpack to transport animals that has a transparent cover. This InWin B1 chassis It is developed for mini-ITX motherboards and has feet to stand upright. We can also install it lying down, if we remove the base.
It only supports mini-ITX motherboards and supports processor heatsinks up to 60mm high. There is no place to install liquid cooling, much less a graphics card. PCI slots for graphics installation have been removed. We basically have a box for the office market but with a gaming design. At most we can install an AMD Ryzen APU.
The InWin B1 integrates a 200W Flex-ATX power supply and integrates an 80mm fan. Regarding connectivity, they have not been killed either, with a single USB 3.2 Gen1 and a jack connector. The tinted tempered glass panel reveals the interior and is completely devoid of RGB.
We do not know what the price is or the date of release on the market, but come on, a box that we do not recommend at all, seen what we have seen.
InWin Diéy Edition, a box suspended like a disco ball
Without a doubt, the InWin Diéy Edition chassis is the craziest of those discussed. We are talking about a completely open computer suspended from an arm with pieces of methacrylate illuminated by a blue LED. The truth is that it is almost impossible to describe this madness that InWin has come up with.
The company describes them as a robotic sphere wrapped in ARGB (WTF !?) scales. It has support for different virtual assistants, even offline, and appears to have a built-in projector. Each of the scales is independently ARGB illuminated. It was developed to serve as both a conventional PC and as an entertainment system (if they say so)
Inspired by the previous Signature Edition, Yǒng (“Chrysalis”), the new Diéy (“Butterfly”) invites you to experience its transformation. The PC’s internal hardware is covered in 80 Ocian Blue scales. Each scale features ARGB lighting that provides a thrilling 360-degree view, and there are four dazzling light shows pre-installed.
