GTX 1650 Mobile and GTX 1660 Ti Mobile specs revealed

Full specifications of the NVIDIA GTX 1650 Mobile and GTX 1660 Ti, for entry-level gaming laptops, officially published.

We have just echoed the official publication by NVIDIA of the specifications of the GTX 1650. We now turn to laptops and the company has also made the GTX 1650 Mobile and GTX 1660 Ti Mobile official. This will bring a significant performance improvement to gaming laptops, while allowing a price adjustment. The most curious thing is that in the benchmarks provided by NVIDIA, it is compared to the GTX 960M, forgetting about the GPUs for Pascal.

The curious change of specifications of the GTX 1650

If we compare the GTX 1650 and the Mobile version, we see that there is an important difference from CUDA Cores. The desktop version has 896 CUDA Cores, while the Mobile version has 1024 CUDA Cores. We assume that increasing the amount of CUDA Cores will have to do with a performance tuning, as the frequencies are lower. Although the CUDA Cores are increased, when the frequency is adjusted lower, the consumption is lower.

Regarding the laptops that will carry these new Mobile graphics cards, although there are none confirmed. The normal thing is that these days a large number of laptops with these new graphics cards begin to be announced. We imagine that those who implement the GTX 1650 Mobile will move between 700-1000 euros.
