TUXEDO Pulse 15, new laptop based on Ryzen 4000H and Linux

Laptop manufacturers are increasingly implementing AMD Ryzen processors for their good prices. These notebooks are more powerful and cheaper than those based on Intel processors. TUXEDO Computers, a German notebook brand launches the new notebooks, this time with AMD Ryzen 4000H processors and Linux operating system. This allows you to have a high-performance laptop at a much lower cost.
Previously they already launched one with a Ryzen 3000 and now they have updated it to the Ryzen 4000. The TUXEDO Pulse 15 comes in two versions, one with Ryzen 5 4600H and another with Ryzen 7 4800H. Both models will arrive with Linux operating system, which allows reducing the price of the laptop by not having to pay licenses.

The Ryzen 5 4600H has 6 cores and 12 threads at a base frequency of 3.0GHz and comes in Boost mode at 4.0GHz and an RX Vega 6. The Ryzen 7 4800H has 8 cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 2.9GHz and that comes in Boost mode at 4.2GHz and an RX Vega 7. The two processors are based on the Zen2 @ 7nm architecture and have a TDP of 45W.
Regarding the TUXEDO Pulse 15, it is a 16.8mm thick laptop made of magnesium alloy. It has a battery that can last 20 hours when idle and in light or moderate workloads it can last up to 10 hours. They can be configured with up to 64GB DDR4 in Dual Channel and have an M.2 slot.
The Pulse 15 based on the Ryzen 5 4600H with 8GB of RAM, 250GB and 1080p display has a base price of 896 euros. With the same specifications but with the Ryzen 7 4800H it is priced at 974 euros and with 16GB in Dual Channel configuration it costs 1018 euros.
