Gamer budget of € 800 to play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in 1080p

We bring you an affordable budget designed for the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, so that we can run the game at a completely smooth 1080p resolution.

Without a doubt, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is the title of the moment and everyone wants to play it, but it is a quite demanding title at the graphic level, that's why we bring you a team designed to work at 1080p smoothly. We have tried to do everything possible to make this budget for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds as tight as possible, but the RAM, SSDs and graphics cards are above what is desirable and it has been very difficult for us to lower it from € 800. We have adjusted it to the maximum, we hope you like it.

AMD RYZEN 5 1400

We opted for the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor because it's a quad-core, eight-thread processor and a more affordable option than Intel processors. This processor operates at a base frequency of 3.2GHz and a boost frequency of 3.4GHz. It has a TDP of 65W and comes with the Wraith Stealth cooler, which is more than sufficient for cooling. We didn't choose a model with XFR because this technology doesn't offer good performance. (RRP: €191.95)

MSI A320M GRENADE

We could have opted for a motherboard with a superior chipset, but in this case we have opted for a simpler solution, one with good performance and more than enough for the configuration we want. The motherboard offers two DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting a maximum of 16GB DDR4 @ 2133MHz. Furthermore, this motherboard has four SATA 6Gbps ports and offers a front panel USB 2.0 connector. The motherboard has two PCIe 3.0 x1 ports and one PCIe 3.0 x16 port. Regarding connectivity, this motherboard has two USB 2.0 ports, a PS / 2 port for keyboard or mouse, VGA, DVI and HDMI video outputs, two USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet port and jack connectors for simple sound systems . A simple option, but more than enough. (PVP: € 69.95)

HYPERX FURY 8GB (2x4GB) 2133MHz

The minimum for gaming today is 8GB, so we have opted for this kit of two 4GB RAM modules each, working these at a frequency of 2.133MHz. They are the cheapest and best performance modules that we have been able to find, also to take advantage of the Dual Channel of the motherboard. These HyperX Fury modules have a black heatsink, in an ideal combination with the rest of the components. (PVP: € 74.95)

MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 6GB

The best solution for running the game is undoubtedly the MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR, a powerful graphics card with high performance, a good heatsink, and excellent performance. The NVIDIA GPU offers 1286 CUDA cores and a base clock speed of 1544MHz and a boost clock speed of 1759MHz. It also features 6GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8008MHz with a 192-bit memory interface. For video outputs, this graphics card has two DisplayPort, two HDMI, and one DVI-D, more than enough for any setup. It is powered by an 8-pin PCI connector and has a total power consumption of 120W. (RRP: €314.95)

Corsair VS450 80PLUS 450W

The consumption of the system is quite low, so as a power supply we can use an economical solution, as is the case with this Corsair VS450, which offers us 450W and offers us the 80Plus certificate, more than enough for this system. If we wanted to opt for a more powerful graphics card, we would already recommend going to 500W, but this is more than enough, for the system. (PVP: 50.95W)

Sesagate Barracuda 1TB

We have ruled out the SSD because right now they are at a completely absurd price and we have opted for a 1TB Seagate. If you have the availability of opting for an SSD drive as your primary drive, it is recommended, although this drive is fine, since it works at 7200RPM. (PVP: € 50.95)

AEROCOOL SI-5100W Black

The tower is a fairly simple chassis, with tempered glass capable of housing all the expert components, compatible with an ATX motherboard. This chassis allows you to install two 3.5 "hard drives and three 2.5" hard drives. It supports 372mm graphics card without front fans, something more than enough for the chosen graphics card and if we put fans on the front, it will be 347mm. The chassis in the front supports three 120mm fans or a 240mm radiator and in the rear it has a 120mm fan included. It has two USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 port on the front panel and also HD sound and microphone. (PVP: € 34.94)

Conclusion

The situation in the hardware market is that the components are becoming more and more expensive and we have already adjusted the budget as much as possible so that you can play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the game of the moment, at 1080p smoothly. We have installed an NVIDIA graphics card, because PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been optimized for NVIDIA graphics. Maybe we would change the budget, as we have highlighted the hard drive and we would put a normal SSD, which is already around € 100 and the price of RAM and SSD is through the roof and things do not look like it is going to go down.

  1. To buy a Ryzen with a RAM with the minimum speed, is it not better to opt for an Intel that the RAM does not affect so much?
