First unboxing of an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processors, from an unknown user, apparently Brazilian, and it changes very little from the Ryzen 7 1700, in terms of packaging
Theoretically, there are just over two weeks until the AMD Ryzen 5 processors hit the market, the high-end AMD processor range, designed above all for gaming. We have already seen the first benchmarks of these processors and the first images of them. The images are very good and show that some users already have it, while the first benchmarks, well, they are interesting, but we always have to take these advances as interesting information, not as certain science. The latter is an unboxing of the Ryzen 5 1600.
User Jefferson Lamin has uploaded a video showing a video of him unboxing. The user is new and seems to be a Brazilian user, we do not know if anonymous or works in a store, because in front of the processor we see a card from a computer store, supposedly. Not much information is given to the origin or if it is a user of a specialized medium or works for the computer store whose image appears on the table, but it has its certain interest.
Regarding the packaging, it is the same as the Ryzen 7, more like the Ryzen 7 1700, since this processor also has the Wraith Spire cooler, designed for 95W TDP processors. There is not much more news, since unboxing is without tests and without more data. We imagine that in the coming days we will see new data from this user, since we see how on the table he has the ASRock X370 Killer SLI, as well as another ASUS motherboard, so we opted to think that he works in a computer store and it would be an exhibition of a product that has just entered the warehouse.
