The first images of the ASRock Phantom Gaming graphics cards, which are based on the Polaris GPUs of the RX 500 Series, are shown, but little else is known about them.
Just at the moment when NVIDIA has launched its GeForce Partner, which will provide benefits to brands that work preferentially with them, we see how in return ASRock enters the market for graphics cards with AMD-based GPUs. It is no less curious that this initiation in the graphics market is with the Radeon RX 500 Series, leaving aside, apparently, the RX Vega, which are not exactly good graphics cards, as we all know.
The new ASRock RX 500 Phantom Gaming graphics come with custom heatsinks, which is more of a mid-range heatsink, different from the reference models, of course. The RX 580 is the most powerful and the heatsink will have two fans, while the rest of the graphics cards will only have one fan, because they have less cooling needs. All these graphics cards are characterized by having a double slot thickness.
There are no final data and characteristics of these graphics cards. We should not expect unusual performance and not excessive overclocking of these graphics cards, since it aims to be simple graphics and above all, cheap, like the company's motherboards. It looks like these graphs are the company's blanket in the market and push how things will go, and then make the leap to more powerful solutions.
The RX 560 and RX 550 stand out, which have been developed with a very compact design, thinking in mini-ITX configurations, which makes them perfect for creating extremely compact equipment. Right now there is no performance data, the price of the same or the date of arrival on the market, but they should come out soon.
