Benchmarks leaked from the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, show that this graphics card, at least in synthetic benchmarks, is a real beast, which will give much to talk about.
There are only a few days to go before the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti hits the market. We know that different versions will come out from different manufacturers, but for the moment the one that is being seen is the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition and it is the one that has been photographed by ChipHell, a Chinese website known for its leaks. This medium has not stopped by photographing the graphics card together with a box from a well-known junk food brand, it has also put the graphics card above 2GHz and has published some benchmarks.
This Asian medium has raised the frequency to 2062MHz, a frequency that we know reaches quite easily, thanks to a high-quality power supply, which NVIDIA has developed precisely to make the graphics card rise easily. This graphics card, we must remember that it has 11GB of GDDR5X memory. This normal memory works at 11GHz, but they have also increased the frequency of the memories to 11.404MHz.
The temperature of this graphics card has never exceeded 63ºC and had a power limitation, located at 122%. The new graphics card heatsink and the graphics card VRM seem to improve the temperature problems that the GTX 1080 Founders Edition had, which although they were not as important as AMD Fury graphics, which were hot and consumed excessively.
The 3DMark Fire Strike Performance benchmark has been passed, which yields a score of 31135 points, in the Fire Strike Extreme it has scored 15093 points, in the Fire Strike Ultra it has scored 7362 points and in the Time Spy it has scored 10825 points. The results are spectacular and the performance improvement is quite important compared to the GTX 1080. We remind you that on March 10 it will hit the market and that the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition will cost € 829, while the versions customized by the manufacturers, We don't know how much they will cost.
