EVGA is looking for two graphics cards from a few years ago and offers good money for them, although it does not specify what is the reason for this intense search.

Whenever we talk about graphics cards, we usually talk about the most recent models to hit the market, their performance, benefits and we see the benchmarks of it. Today EVGA has surprised us, who has launched a curious campaign, where it will give $ 1.000, which is about € 850 in exchange. How to get this money? The thing is quite simple, you should only have in your possession an EVGA GeForce 4 MMX440 ACS or an EVGA GeForce 4 4600 Ti ACS2. Now we just need to know the reason for this curious announcement.

These two graphics cards are launched back in 2002, indicating that these graphics cards have a special value for the company. The EVGA GeForce4 MX 440 is the first graphics card on the market that implemented the Asymmetric Cooling System, being the first graphics card in the world to have a blower fan that cooled a large part of the aluminum heatsink and exhausted the air through one of the sides of the the graphics card.

On the other hand, we have the EVGA GeForce4 4600 Ti ACS2, which was revolutionary, as the 4600 Ti and 4400 Ti were the first EVGA graphics cards to improve heat dissipation using copper heatpipes for greater efficiency. The small heatpipes terminated in a copper radiator that utilized a vapor chamber to further enhance heat dissipation. The real reasons for this curious campaign are not very clear. Possibly because these charts were the first to implement special and innovative coolers. It will be difficult to find many of these, since they were not the most cutting-edge models, but hey, they will have some secret reason to give so much money for this graphics card.
