Rainbow Six Quarantine is delayed and will not be released in early 2020

Ubisoft has delayed Rainbow Six Quarantine and several more games to the next fiscal year. It may be related to the poor reception of The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Ubisoft announced in its E3 conference a new game in the Tom Clancy universe, who after his death is giving many games and became a joke of the conference itself. Rainbow Six Quarantine for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia promises to be a cooperative action game for three players that was slated for release early next year. But it will no longer be able to fulfill that promise of coming out soon in 2020 according to a recent announcement from Ubisoft.

Ubisoft delays Quarantine

At a recent shareholder conference, Ubisoft announced that it has had to delay Rainbow Six Quarantine, along with other major games, to release once they start next fiscal year. That means that, since the next fiscal year begins in April 2020, until that month begins, the cooperative title will not come out.

Rainbow Six Quarantine didn’t have a firm release date planned beyond “early 2020,” and while releasing in April counts as early 2020, it’s possible its release could have been pushed to even after the summer. Ubisoft said it wanted to give the games it releases room to sell better since not as many people can keep up with as many games on the service.

We can also blame it on wanting to improve as much as possible Ghost Recon Breakpoint after having sold less than expected by the French company and having received bad reviews. That game is a black stain on Tom Clancy's name. The last thing they want to do is get another title out when players still have a shoddy game in mind full of bugs and microtransactions that allow you to upgrade your character just for paying. The sales of Breakpoint and The Division 2 have had to be really disappointing so that together with this game they have delayed Gods and Monsters and Watch Dogs Legion, the game that most impressed the viewers of their E3 conference.
