Rare prepares its new iP Everwild for Xbox consoles and PC

Possibly inspired by Sea of Thieves, Rare is now preparing Everwild. They have not confirmed platforms, because it is very early in development.

During the past X019 event, several announcements were predicted for us. Many of which could have shown up at E3 a few months ago but decided to save them for Microsoft's own event. One of them has been the game Everwirld, a new IP of the current RARE that Sea of Thieves made for Xbox One.

Now you have to survive in a wild and fantastic jungle

From what has been seen in the trailer, Everwild will take many influences from Sea of Thieves since it will be a survival game in a wide world, possibly multiplayer and with a lot of fantasy. Most likely they have learned from the complicated launch of the pirate game and are going to bring the game when it has enough initial content.

According to developer Craig Duncan, Everwild is still in an early stage of development, but they are very excited about the unique potential of the game they are creating. The team is focusing on creating an experience that enables new ways to play in a natural and magical world, led by Executive Producer Louise O'Connor, who is creating a special that is intended to be more than just a new IP.

They promise that Everwild will provide us with memorable, interesting and meaningful experiences that players everywhere can share. They say they can't wait to share details in the future and that having two big games in development represents a great opportunity for Rare as they grow and evolve to meet the challenges of simultaneously operating the live service of a game already released on the market. and being in pre-production for a new IP. While the team is focused on creating Everwild, they are still fully committed to Sea of Thieves because they still have a lot of creative ideas and plans for Sea of Thieves for a long time to come.
