Resident Evil has a spirit event in Smash Ultimate

Smash Ultimate will have four spirits from ResidentE Vile. They will be displayed on the spirit board starting this Friday.

With the spirits, Super Smash Bros Ultimate was able to somehow introduce thousands of different characters from Nintendo and other franchises with which the game collaborates that would not have had a presence otherwise. They created a way in which we face fighters with special behaviors and conditions to refer to these characters of all kinds. And soon we will receive spirits from Resident Evil.

Resident Evil spirits

There are currently 1371 spirits in Smash Ultimate adding the base ones, the ones that have been added with the Joker DLC characters from Persona 5, the Hero of Dragon Quest, Banjo and Kazooie by Low-Kazooie, Terry Bogard from Final Fight; and event characters to promote games and releases on Nintendo Switch. This ensures that the game continues to be talked about for several months after its launch and encourages buyers not to abandon it. Precisely for the latter is why there will be new spirits, this time from Resident Evil, a series that until now has not had representation in Super Smash Bros, and this will be its debut. The characters that will appear in the form of spirits are the following

  • Albert Wesker to be ranked As
  • Chris Redfield to be Promise rank
  • Leon S Kennedy who will be Promise rank
  • Jill Valentine who will be Rookie rank

Although it may not seem like it, Nintendo has had its fair share of Capcom zombies. Resident Evil 2 and 3 were miraculously ported to the Nintendo 64, GameCube hosted the debut of the fourth installment, Zero and the remake of the first game, which would later be used for the HD versions. On Wii, the Umbrella Chronicles were created ... And on Nintendo Switch we can find Resident Evil from 4 to 6, and in Japan there is the cloud version that allows us to enjoy Resident Evil 7 as a service.

This event for Smash Ultimate will begin this Friday, November 929 and will last five days. During that time we can find those spirits on the Spirit Boards marked as event spirits. If we don't get them now, we will have to wait several months for them to be openly available.
