The new NVIDIA RTX 3000 will have integrated mining limiter
NVIDIA continues to make efforts to make its GeForce RTX 3000 line interesting only for gamers and not for mining. Now the limiter is integrated.
It's possible they learned from limiting mining in a driver , and that when one was released that removed the hash cap, miners flocked to the RTX 3060 knowing they now had unlimited hash and NVIDIA could do little about it. Now they want to limit mining in a built-in way in the new batches of RTX 3000 cards that will be released.

As has been leaked, the new shipments of NVIDIA RTX 3000 that will be put on the market will come with a mining limiter on the GPU's own die. NVIDIA is still standing so that the RTX go directly to the players and not to the miners, who for them already have their CMP cards without video output.
According to the Igor's LAB portal, some assemblers are receiving revisions to the RTX 3080 Ti to have hash limitation out of the box to make Ethereum mining less profitable. With this, the most powerful model will not be as efficient mining cryptocurrencies and with it, less interesting for miners. The same could happen to the rest of the models of the NVIDIA RTX series.
They have already started to do so with the RTX 3060, which will now go into production with the GA106-302. We would start to see them in the market in the coming weeks, hoping that more will reach the players. But they have to deal with the fact that even with limitation, they are still good for mining as opposed to CMPs, which have no video output and only interest pure miners, not those who want to take advantage of their GPU to play and mine.
