It appears in the Anandtech forums, the possible characteristics of all Intel Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors, which would have a new family of processors, the Intel i9.
The day is being hectic in various fields. The last thing that reaches us in the writing is the leak of the possible specifications of the next Intel processors. Specifically in the Anandtech forums, a user has released the name of the Basins Falls processors based on the Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X architecture and their characteristics, although we must say that this is an uncertified leak, so we are going to catch as a rumor, which may or may not be real. What stands out the most is that there is a family superior to the Intel i7 processors, specifically the Intel i9 with extreme processors.
It stands out that it is specified that these processors would have at least a 2MB L1 cache, which is four times more than that of the Intel i7 7700K. The Kaby Lake-X will support DualChannel DDR4-2666MHz RAM, while the Skylake-X will support QuadChannel DDR4-2666MHz RAM. The Kaby Lake-X processors have a TDP of 112W, while the Skylake-X will have a maximum TDP of 160W. Apparently the Intel i9 processors will have AVX-512 (TBC) support. All would arrive in June except for the i9 7920X, which would arrive during the month of August.
LEAKED SLIDES OF AMD RYZEN-BASED PROFESSIONAL CPU & APU
The processors in principle would have to be seen on May 30 during Computex 2017, which is the event chosen by Intel to present these processors, which would arrive between mid and late June. It remains to be seen if these will be the real specifications or have been invented by someone with a lot of free time. On the prices even at this moment there is no data, but they will not be economic processors. These processors would have the competition of the AMD Ryzen HEDT that should arrive shortly after these processors to the market.
