Through a conference held in New York, Samsung has presented the older brother of the Samsung Galaxy family, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, a 6,3 ”phablet, SD 835 and 6 GB of RAM.
The moment has arrived. With the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 the second round of top-of-the-range mobile presentations begins, Note 8, LG V30, iPhone 8, Mate 10 ... And the Galaxy Note 8 starts strong. After last year's disaster with the Note 7, Samsung could not launch another failed Note 8. The presentation in New York has been short and to the point, highlighting the strengths of the Note 8 and showing the differences with the S8 and S8 +.

Design
As expected, the design of the Galaxy Note 8 it is identical to the Galaxy S8 and S8 +. One of the most attractive designs of this year 2017, it depends on the taste. It has a frame slightly more square than its smaller brothers and a smaller angle of curvature in the lateral frames of the screen. This is due to the inclusion of the hole where the S Pen is stored. With this slight change, it is also possible to take full advantage of the surface of the screen, making it more easily usable with the already named S Pen. This screen has a size of 6,3 inches with QHD + resolution in relation to 18,5: 9 aspect, technology Super AMOLED, HDR and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Being identical to the S8 and S8 +, it has the same ports and buttons, except for the S Pen. An unlock button on the right frame, and the volume buttons and Bixby itself on the left frame. In the back it has the new double camera, which we will talk about later, the flash, the heart sensor and the finger sensor. All this in the upper part of the back of the device, leaving the rest of the back free.
Highlight certification IP68K, resistance to water and dust, despite the gap left by the S Pen in the body of the terminal.
Camera
For the first time in history, Samsung mounts a dual sensor main camera at a top of the range. Like the iPhone 7 Plus or the Mi 6, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a sensor with 2x optical zoom, to be able to take beautiful photos in portrait mode that are so fashionable lately. The two sensors in the main camera have 12 megapixels, the main one with opening f / 1.7 and, the one who mounts the 2x zoom, f / 2.4. Both sensors have stabilization, during the presentation they showed a comparison against the iPhone 7 Plus, which had nothing to do with the video recorded by the Note 8.
The front camera stays on 8 megapixels, but with some surprises f / 1.7 opening and autofocus. Which seems to be a great combination for some very good quality selfies.
Hardware
What to say about the hardware of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Soc Snapdragon 835 o Exynos 8895, depending on the region, 6 GB RAM type LPDDR4, internal storage 64 GB, expandable with microSD cards up to 256 GB. The battery could be a little short on 3.300 mAh, but it has fast charging and wireless charging. The OTG data transfer and charging connector is a USB type C. It has a fingerprint reader, iris scanner and facial recognition for your safety.
S Pen
The accessory that characterizes the Note 8 is the S Pen, a stylus manufactured exclusively for the Note range. The appearance and dimensions are similar to the S Pen of other generations, with the difference that the tip is only 0,7 mm thick, which makes it more precise and manageable. 3
In terms of features, you can write notes on the active screen of the device without actually unlocking it, among other uses.
Price and Availability
This new Galaxy Note 8 arrives in Europe at a price of 1.010,33 euros on September 14. Although the price is not entirely dramatic, since they give you the Dex Station, the accessory with which to turn your smartphone into a simple PC.
Shit, finally they have removed the reader glued to the camera lens.
Apparently it is not so easy to put the sensor under the screen and Samsung puts it next to the camera so that everything is in one line and is more aesthetic and less ergonomic. The latest rumors say that the iPhone 8 itself will have the sensor where the apple is on the back, all to have the entire front of the screen.
A question (although it sounds stupid), does a mobile need a processor and a graphics processor? very similar to the pc ?, and if so, what graphics do they have?
Yes of course. In mobile phones due to lack of space, everything goes on the same chip, the so-called Soc (Sysyem on a Chip), which apart from CPU also has GPU, wifi, bluetooth, etc. It is not a processor and graphics, but it is a chip where there is a CPU module and another GPU module. The Note has the Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 8895, the first has 8 Kryo 280 CPU cores and an Adreno 540 GPU module, the second has 4 custom Samsung cores and 4 Cortex A53 and a Mali G71 MP20 GPU module.
