Samsung presents its new Notebook 9
The Notebook 9 is thinner, lighter and more powerful than its predecessor
Samsung has decided to renew its range of ultrabooks by presenting the new Notebook 9, which will replace its predecessor the Notebook 7. The main novelty that this product presents is that it is very light, very thin and also more powerful since it uses a processor from the new range Intel, Kaby Lake, being able to choose between an i5 and i7. This will position it among the best value for money range of Windows ultrabooks.

You can choose between two screen sizes: the 15-inch model will measure 348 x 229 x 14,9mm and weigh 985 grams; the 13-inch model will measure 310 x 208 x 13,9mm and weigh 180 grams less than its older brother, 815 grams. With this size, it becomes the lightest model on the market and easier to move. The screens of both models are Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) and contain very thin edges that give them a very nice and premium look. The battery gives a maximum of 7 hours of screen and has an outdoor mode with a maximum brightness of 500 nits and an indoor mode with a lower brightness.
Apart from an optimized battery consumption, it is also on charge since in 1 hour and 20 minutes (80 minutes) it is at 100%. As for inputs, it is also equipped correctly: it contains a USB type C, 2 USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0. Add an HDMI and a microSD input. As wireless connectivity includes 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Like other specifications, the 15-inch model with an i7 mounts 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and the rest of the models 8GB of RAM. Regarding storage, both models have 256GB SSD, but the 15 ″ model is connected by PCIe NVMe and the 13 by SATA3.

There is nothing certain about the price, but the most certain thing is that neither of the two models will drop below $ 1000 when it is launched on the market. During the CES 2017 in Las Vegas to be held at the beginning of next January we will have more details of these Samsung laptops and probably in those conferences their exact price will be confirmed by the same company.
