Bitcoin futures are opened by the CBOE and the web immediately goes down

The CBOE website goes down moments after the Bitcoin futures market opens, although it has caused the value of all the most relevant cryptocurrencies on the market to rise.

Today we got up with all the cryptocurrencies in green, all thanks to the implementation of Bitcoin futures by the CBOE. This has caused the CBOE website to go down just after futures operations started, something that has prevented many investors interested in trading in these futures from being able to do so due to the lack of operation of the website. It is the first time that a market of this type has been opened to institutional investors, offering access to Bitcoin and backed by a platform as important as the CBOE.

CBOE itself has sent a tweet explaining the situation: “Due to the increase in traffic on our website, those who visit the cboe.com website will notice that it is running with a lower performance than usual and may appear temporarily unavailable. All trading activities operate normally. "

Despite the lack of operability, after a weekend in red, the arrival of Monday has brought green to all cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin for example, as it is above $ 16.150, up 8%, while Ethereum is already above $ 465 with a rise of more than 7%. The ones that rise the most at the moment are Litecoin, which is at $ 180 and registers a rise of 30%, Bitcoin Gold is at $ 252 and rises 14% and finally Omnise Go is at $ 8.75, rising almost 11% .

As flatter values we have Dash, with a value of $ 711 and a rise of 4%, Zcash which is at $ 310 and rises almost 4%, Ripple which is at $ 0.24 with a rise of 4% and finally we have Bitcoin Cash, which is the one that rises the least, being at $ 1.345 and registers an increase of less than 4%. It should be noted that the week is still starting and possibly during the week all register significant increases.
