AMD RX 500 Series Specifications Released

Revealed the specifications of the RX 500 Series, the new AMD graphics cards that will hit the market shortly and that are a rehash of the RX 400 Series.

The specifications of the new AMD Radeon RX 500 Series graphics cards have been revealed, graphics cards that are a rehash of the Polaris 10 graphics cards and that arrive before the Vega graphics, curiously. These new graphics cards are slightly better than the respective RX 400 Series versions. The first of these is the RX 580, a graphics card with 2304 Stream Processors, 144TMU and 31 ROP. This graphics card has a base working frequency of 1340MHz, which will offer a performance of 6.17TFLOPS of power.

The improvements in these graphics cards is minimal, as we can see. According to the data, the RX 580 will have a Polaris 20 XTX GPU and will only be available with 8GB of GDDR5 memory, but in this case these memories will have a working frequency of 8GHz with a 256-bit data bus, thus generating bandwidth. 256GB / s. According to the data, this RX 580 graphics card will be priced at $ 200.

The second of these graphics cards will be the RX 570, which will carry a Polaris 20 XL GPU. It does not differ excessively from the RX 470, counting this graphics card with 2048 Stream Processors. This graphics card has a working frequency of 1244MHz, which will offer a total power of 5.1TFLOPS. This will also have 8GB GDDR5, but with a working frequency of these memories of 7GHz with a bandwidth of 224GB / s. This graphics card would be priced at $ 150.

Finally we have the RX 560 which will integrate a Polaris 11 GPU. This processor has a total of 1024 Stream Processors, working at a frequency of 1287MHz, offering a working power of 2.63TFLOPS. It will come with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and a 128-bit bus. Apparently, this graphics card will have a relative price of $ 100.

  1. Totally unnecessary on AMD's part, lest they sell us the rx 500 as the product that the rx 400 should have been from the beginning XD just like zen2 you will see how it will be the same zen but polished.
