Leaked the Intel Core i7 8670 processor in the GFXBench software, a processor so far completely unknown and that will break with the name of the company's processors.

We know that Intel is working on new processors, which are being seen from time to time in different benchmark software, well, in their databases. The last to be seen has been the Intel Core i7 8670, a processor of which we did not have the least data so far and that we know exists thanks to GFXBench. The strangest thing about this processor is its name. Until now the 87xx were from the Core i7 family, while the 86xx were from the Core i5 family, something that is changed in this processor.

The Intel Core i7 8670, would be a third processor in the highest range for gaming, developed under the Coffee Lake architecture and characterized by having a total of six cores and twelve processing threads, which will work at a base frequency of 3.1GHz, which equates to 100MHz slower than the Core i7 8700 and possibly under € 300. The sole mission of this processor is to compete with AMD Ryzen processors, which offer a better performance / price ratio.

We know thanks to this tool that this processor will have integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics, the company's simple graphics, ideal for running Minesweeper and little else. We are talking about a total of 24 Execution Units, which can work at a base 350MHz and can reach in Boost mode up to 1200MHz. We do not know much more about this processor, but it is possible that it does not even have an official announcement, it will simply be launched on the market with a competitive price, below € 300 and that's it.
