Lisa Su, the CEO of AMD, has revealed what will be the packaging of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, which should hit the market on August 10, but will be shown at the end of the month together with the AMD RX Vega, supposedly. These new Threadripper processors will arrive with the TR4 socket and require specific motherboards and heatsinks, that is why AMD has decided to include All-in-One liquid cooling heatsinks in the first instance and they will be possibly the only ones available when these processors arrive on the market.
The packaging of the Threadripper will be much more complex than that developed for the Ryzen. The Threadripper will hit the market with a much larger box, because it has to include the processor, with a fairly large HIS and the liquid cooling kit. The arrival of Threadripper in a version with or without heatsink has not been confirmed, although the box is very large and everything indicates that they will arrive with the RL AIO and the logical thing, in the face of a shortage of heatsinks, supposed in the first instance, but which seems likely, because Noctua already said at Computex that they wouldn't have heatsinks for the Threadripper release.
AMD has confirmed that this packaging is designed for Threadripper processors for retail sale, so this packaging will not be exclusive to reviewers, as it will be for the general public. The package, on the other hand, may remind you of one of the classic CRT televisions, which are a thing of the past. The full specifications, as well as the reviews, could appear next week during the SIGGRAPH 2017 event, which we all hope not for these processors, but to see the AMD RX Vega once and for all.

The important thing, whether it comes out on time or not, without taking too long, is that a good product is offered at all levels.
Well, AMD is finally on target, although I would wait to see the benchmarks. The Bulldozer was so hyped up before it came out that it burst like a balloon.
