Sharkoon TG5 RGB, a chassis with a lot of RGB LEDs and tempered glass
Sharkoon adds a new box version, the ATX Midi Sharkoon TG5 RGB. In addition to the tempered glass front and side panel, the TG5 RGB features four 120mm RGB LED fans as well as an RGB LED strip.
The Sharkoon TG5 RGB was made especially for fans of eye-catching gaming PCs looking for individualized lighting. in a range of up to 16,8 million possible colors. The tempered glass left side panel offers a clear view of the illuminated components inside the case. Thanks to the cable management system, the PC case always presents a neat appearance. The front panel comes in a cable-free design and can therefore be easily removed without pulling any cables. On the front we find three pre-installed 120mm RGB LED fans, and another pre-installed 120mm RGB LED fan on the rear panel. In addition, we also find an RGB LED strip, for the inside of the box. The strip can be attached magnetically and using its self-adhesive tape.
In total, six LED elements can be connected to motherboards with 12V GRB connector and dimmed via the included 6-port RGB hub - as long as the LED elements are compatible with GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASUS Aura or other motherboards. common bases that support RGB. For motherboards without 12V-GRB connector, the TG5 RGB comes with a manual for color control. It is equipped with switches, making it possible to illuminate the fans and the strip in seven colors, including white. To reinforce the airflow inside the case, the top panel offers enough space for up to three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans. For water cooling, a 280mm or 360mm radiator can be installed on the front of the case.
CPU coolers with a maximum height of 16,7 cm can be installed. A CPU cooler opening in the motherboard tray makes installation easy. Graphics cards with a maximum length of 40 cm can be inserted, and the maximum length for the power supply is 20,5 cm. Up to two 3,5 ″ or 2,5 ″ HDD / SSDs can be mounted separately in a HDD cage in the tunnel. If desired, the HDD cage can be attached to the bottom of the tunnel by means of convenient thumb screws - and using the oval holes the cage can be positioned above the fan on the front panel.
Inside the tunnel, a separate mount for the power supply has been provided. Two 2,5 ″ HDD / SSDs can be mounted behind the motherboard tray, or in the tunnel, using two 2,5 ″ mounting brackets and thumb screws. Four removable dust filters protect from dirt, and the filter on the top panel features a convenient magnetic attachment. There are two removable dust filters located on the sides of the front panel, a panel that also comes equipped with two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, plus two audio ports for connecting peripheral devices.
