SilverStone ET450-B, a basic power supply with a power of 450W

SilverStone adds to its Essential Power Supplies the ET450-B, a 450W 80Plus Bronze certified power supply.

Installing a good power supply is essential, since this is the one that will power the system and protect it against voltage problems at a specific time. SilverStone has introduced a new range of entry-level power supplies, offering excellent quality at a reasonable price. In May, the company presented the Essential family, very economical power supplies that have great performance, with 440W and 650W versions, now the company is expanding the product range with a 450W power supply.

The ET450-B, which allows a power of 450W, is not compatible with the AMD RX vega 64, as we know, which demand a lot more. It stands out from this power supply, the 80Plus Bronze certification and a single 12 rail, which can give a current of 34A, which means that it can offer 408W of power. It is very interesting for simple systems that are going to use integrated graphics, or even with mid-range graphics, such as the RX 580 or the GTX 1060.

Regarding the characteristics, this power supply has dimensions of 150x140x86mm and a total weight of 1.5Kg. The cables are more than enough for any need, having two PCIe 6 + 2-pin cables, four SATA 3 connectors and three mole connectors, all of them, with a maximum length of 150mm. A 120mm fan has been arranged to cool the components with a sound level of 18dB. Regarding the price, this power supply has a cost of $ 49.99 and will come with a three-year warranty, something that indicates its great reliability.
