Simply NUC introduces Topaz (Intel) and Ruby (AMD) systems

Simply NUC company has just announced the availability of two new systems. On the one hand we have Ruby systems based on AMD Ryzen 4000 (Renoir) processors. Then we have the Topz systems that are based on Intel Tiger Lake processors. Both systems are the same, just change the processor built into each range of compact equipment.

These new Simply NUC systems have dimensions of 115x115x49mm. The two new systems offer great power in a minimum space. Both systems have a DIN and VESA mounting system, allowing them to be installed behind a monitor or on a DIN rail in industrial assemblies, for example.

Both systems have two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots that offer support for DDR4-3200 modules. The two systems integrate two M.2 2280 slots. The primary port supports NVMe and SATA drives and the secondary port supports SATA drives.

Regarding connectivity with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. In addition, they have WiFi 6 AX200 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0.

The general connectivity in both systems has slight differences. The Ruby system has two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. The Topaz model has four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports.

Ruby is based on Ryzen 3 4300U 4-core processors, Ryzen 5 4500U 6-core processors, and Ryzen 7 4800U 8-core processors. On the other hand, the Topaz are based on the 3-core Core i1115-4G2, the 5-core Core i1135-7G4 and the 7-core Core i1165-7G6.

Both systems have a basic configuration of 4GB DDR4 and a 128GB SSD, allowing you to modify the configuration. The simplest Ruby model costs $ 519 and the simplest Topaz model costs $ 559.
