EVGA Hybrid Cooling System for NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti and Titan X Pacal Graphics Cards

EVGA announces a hybrid cooling system based on an RL All-in-One and the Founders Edition heatsink plastic cover customized by EVGA itself, for the GTX 1080 Ti and Titan X Pascal.

One of the most important NVIDIA partners is EVGA. The company is characterized by offering high quality products and differentials, that although its trajectory lately is not without errors, normally its products tend to offer a very high quality and performance. The latest of the company's solutions has been to launch a hybrid cooling system compatible with the Titan X Pascal and GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, since both graphics cards share PCBs.

This solution from EVGA is quite common within the industry. We basically have a block for the processor with a copper base, which covers the entire GPU and is cooled by a 120mm radiator. The solution is hybrid because it has a casing similar to that of NVIDIA Founders Edition heatsinks with a space for the tubes to come out and whose mission is to enhance cooling, helping with air directly on the block in contact with the PCB.

According to EVGA it is not only compatible with the GTX 1080 Ti and Titan X Pascal, it is also compatible with a small number of graphics cards that have been listed some graphics cards from EVGA, from the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 series, which are compatible with this cooling system and can be viewed on the EVGA website product page.

What is not so clear are the benefits of this cooling system. All-in-one type RLs are characterized by their short durability, relatively good quality, and allow lower temperatures than air solutions. EVGA says that the difference is 30ºC, with the versions with the Founders Edition heatsink, being likely that with other solutions, such as custom heatsinks from MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte or EVGA itself, the difference is minimal.
