Apple will give us time to renew a subscription and not lose content

Apple already allows a grace period to renew a subscription. We will be given time to resolve payment problems without being cut off from access to payment services.

Apple introduced a new billing feature for subscription apps, giving users more time to troubleshoot payment-related issues before paid content is cut off.

App developers who opt in will now be able to offer users a billing grace period after an automatic subscription payment has failed. The time depends on the length of the subscription: there is a six-day allowance for weekly subscriptions, while monthly and annual subscriptions have 16 days of this thanks period.

The subscription will not be cut off at once

Failed renewals can be caused by a number of easy-to-fix problems, including expired or canceled credit cards, insufficient funds, or a change of address. However, sometimes they can cause you to lose access to essential productivity tools to continue working.

Apple is promoting the feature as a way to reduce subscription churn and improve the user experience. There will be no interruption to the subscriber's days of paid service or income if Apple can get the subscription back within the grace period"Apple officials said.

Google has long offered a similar feature for Android developers, allowing grace periods of up to 30 days. This will be especially useful for those who depend a lot on certain content and services to be able to continue with their working life. In addition, this means that the subscription remains ongoing, something for which Apple gives more money to the creators of applications and services, with which not a few creators are going to give this option. It is your way of promoting subscriptions as every time the iPhone brings less benefits.
