Available on September 20 the Asus RoG Phone 2 for 899 euros

It is announced by ASUS that the RoG Phone 2 will arrive in Europe, and therefore Spain, on September 20 for a price of 899 euros.

The term gaming has lost all its meaning, since brands have prostituted it to unheard of levels. Sofas, backpacks, tables and now a smartphone with a tag associated only with RGB products. ASUS just announced the RoG Phone 2 launch in Europe (and Spain), a smartphone with an aggressive design. It has the logo on the back lit by LEDs and little else.

This terminal has a 6.59-inch OLED screen with FullHD + resolution with HDR10 support and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC @ 2.96GHz and an Adreno 640 @ 6.75MHz GPU. It can have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. 48Mpx rear camera and a 24Mpx front camera. It will arrive with Android 9 Pie and a 6mAh battery.

ASUS RoG Phone 2 upcoming release

The ASUS RoG Phone 2 can be purchased in Spain on September 20, which is when it is launched throughout Europe. We can reserve the terminal on the company's website, although there is only one version of it there. This is priced at 899 euros, a price out of reach for most.

It is not a good thing that ASUS independently sells a device that adds a fan to cool the terminal. It will also come with a large number of independent peripherals that seem like a fairly cheap room extractor.

The terminal can also be purchased in physical and online stores from the 20th of this month. If someone is interested, you can buy it now or wait a bit to see if an operator lists it with some kind of offer.

Note that ASUS has also confirmed a special edition of the RoG Phone 2 with 1TB of storage. This terminal will also have a higher download speed. No more details have been given about this, but come on, it will pass the 1 000 euros easily.
