The lightweight Google Gallery Go photo app arrives
Gallery Go arrives to make a photo storage service for mobile phones with low memory. At only 10MB in size, it allows you to organize and edit photos in a similar way to Google Photos.
Google increasingly takes into account mobile phones with little storage and that many times they cannot transfer applications to the microSD. That is why Android Go powers light applications and now it is the turn of the photo gallery, one of the most important points for many and it comes with Gallery Go.
Gallery Go is the lighter version of Google Photos, designed for those mobiles that do not have enough space. It is designed for emerging markets, such as Nigeria and some countries in South America, where the number of mobile phones is huge, but they are not very powerful and positioning themselves soon will give them a much higher future profitability.
A lighter gallery app
If you already have Google Photos, you will not be surprised, as Gallery Go allows things like being able to organize photos and enhance them automatically. They are basic functions of Google Photos, so if you already have this application it is not worth it to change too much unless you really need space as it is and are willing to remove some functions. Even so, it is a more thoughtful alternative to use with offline functions.
To be able to use Gallery Go, you simply have to have a device with Android 8.1 Oreo, something that is not very expensive and should almost be possible, since all Android Go that is sold now is more updated than that. This will not be the only application in this regard, but expect that it is only promoted for devices with this light version of Android since the Google Photos applications are better and offer Google more data to better personalize the advertising.
