PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile Receives Its Biggest Content Update

Since the departure of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE), PUBG Corp. and Tencent have worked closely with the community to bring the most authentic PUBG gaming experience to mobile devices.

As part of this commitment to provide players with the most genuine PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile experience, the game today receives its second update, version 0.4.0. This update will include Arcade Mode, Training Grounds, various combat adjustments, vehicle improvements, voice chat, and interface optimization. New items will also be added to the in-game store.

Arcade Mode is a new 28-player mode where you can participate alone or with friends. Each Arcade game will select, at random, one of the 6 different variants in this way, which will determine the weapons with which we can fight.

Training Grounds will be available in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile so that all players can test out all weapons and items. Players can improve their aim with any weapon of their choice or check the effects of any object. Training Grounds will only be available in single player mode and will allow users to hone their skills before launching into competition.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile April 23 Update Details:

ArcadeMode: a new game mode that will face 28 players and will have the following variants: combat with shotguns; combat with sniper rifles; combat with all weapons; only melee fights; combat with pistols; and a last mode called Object Paradise.

Training camps: test all weapons and practice your aim

Combat improvements:

• Added the Follow function (it can be activated before parachuting and after landing).
• Automatic door opening.
• The pause that occurs when picking multiple objects automatically has been adjusted.
• A performance graph has been added to the Results screen.
• Added a new background: Twilight
• Now you can choose between two and three columns to see the contents of a Box.
• Your partner's icon disappears shortly after deletion.
• Sound effects have been adjusted for steps, interface, vehicles, and when entering and exiting the Blue Zone.

Settings for voice chat:

• Fixed an issue causing the game to crash, reported by some players.
• Improved compatibility with Bluetooth headsets for iOS (not completely, for now).
• Fixed the problem in Android that caused the system not to show the error when the game did not have access to the microphone.
• Now voice chat is compatible with more devices.
• Fixed an issue that caused voice chat to stop working after creating groups.

Player control improvements:

• Running will no longer be interrupted by jumping.
• The view with the telescopic sights will no longer be blocked if you are near a wall.
• Lean Out: The speed of this move has been increased and the moves have been added: "Lean and use the scope" and "Lean and shoot".
• Fixed the problem of using the 4x and 8x telescopic sights.
• Added 3D Touch shooting option on iOS.
• Added animations when taking damage and dying.
• The camera will now switch to your opponent's point of view after you have been eliminated.
• The Results screen now shows the limits for daily rewards.

Combat improvements:

• Vibration and recoil sensations improved.
• Improved feedback button.
• The lean animation is now faster. Different animations have been improved and added when taking damage.

Settings for vehicles:

• Now we can perform aerial tricks when we drive the motorcycles.
• The ability to use Nitrous Oxide on vehicles has been added.
• Previously used vehicles will be marked on the mini map.

Game Store:

• The Rename Card has been added (it will allow us to change our name once).
• Items and chests available in the store.
• Added new garments. Exclusive garments from each region will arrive soon.
• Destroy unused items to obtain in-game currency and purchase new ones.
