Australia has launched an investigation into possible fraudulent advertising of Samsung's underwater smartphones.

Samsung in trouble for its waterproof terminals

Specifically, the Commission is investigating no less than 300 Samsung advertisements. The South Korean company is accused of providing false or information that does not correspond to reality. Mainly the complaints come from its use in the sea or in swimming pools. Although the ads show images using the terminals in these locations, the reality is that they do not work properly.

Many users report problems when using them to take snapshots at sea. Some consumers have even reported that Samsung terminals have suffered breakdowns. And furthermore, the company is refusing to repair these terminals. They hide in that it is not in the guarantee of the terminal.

It is not the first time that smartphone manufacturers do this nasty. Although they advertise their terminals as waterproof, if they are damaged by using them in water, they wash their hands. This is why the company has received lawsuits in several countries that it has lost.
