Surface Duo, Microsoft's dual-screen Android phone
Microsoft Surface Duo is the company's new mobile phone. It is a terminal with two screens with a hinge and that will use Google's Android operating system.
After announcing the dual-screen Surface Neo, Microsoft announced a smaller version that runs the Android mobile operating system. Yes, the system for mobiles and tablets from Google. Android Surface Duo features two displays that can be used in a variety of form factors, even as a phone.
The Android-powered “Surface Phone” has been rumored for years, and today Microsoft showed it off for the first time. Design-wise, it’s just a smaller variant of the Windows version. That said, the displays are still pretty big and sport considerably large top and bottom bezels.
The combined display, not accounting for the bezels in the center, is wider than it is tall. The screens can be folded back so there is a touchscreen on the front and back. It can be folded into various adaptable angles or postures. The company is positioning the Surface Duo as a full-on productivity device under the “Surface” brand.

Hardware-wise, there's a lock button and volume rocker on the right edge and the USB-C port is on the lower edge of that right screen. That side also has the speaker grill and front camera. There is also support for touch pen input.
Surface Duo runs Android and has the full Play Store, not like the Mate 30, and Microsoft specifically recognizes how it is partnering with Google to bring the best of Android in one product.
Microsoft's priority as a company is to offer services, with its own applications such as Skype and Office in full screen. This foldable Android seems to be running Microsoft Launcher. The Android-powered Surface Duo will be available in Holiday 2020.
