A few weeks ago, AMD released its new Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition , featuring significant new additions. Among them was AMD Link, although they didn't provide much information about this feature. Now, the company has discussed this new function, which is fully integrated into the Radeon ecosystem. It's a technology still largely unknown to the general public, and one that the company intends to promote heavily.
AMD Link will now be fully compatible with all types of devices. We can use this function on smartphones, tablets, televisions, Apple TV and other devices. We only have to run the game on our system and play it on our smartphone or television. We can also play any game from our smartphone either via WiFi or 4G.

The company has added new fully customizable features to our smartphone. We can add buttons, remove them, modify the size of the screen or the level of transparency. It will also allow benchmarking, watching movies, command management by voice or connecting our device with a second screen.
An example would be if we have an unused tablet, allowing to put it in a dock and thus through AMD Link have system data. We can see the amount of FPS while we play, the load on the CPU and GPU, temperatures, voltages and other parameters.
Enjoying games on the couch or anywhere while running on our PC is great. Many elements of this type have been developed, such as the NVIDIA Shield or the Steam Link, but it never finishes working. Being able to do it through a free application that connects to AMD's own suit is great.
AMD's move to promote the AMD Link tool, among others, stems from its poor rating on Android. The app on the Google Play Store has a mere 2.1/5, indicating it needed a redesign. It 's already available for Android and Amazon , and will be coming to iOS soon.
