Microsoft allows you to install Windows 10 without the need for a license, with some feature cuts and a watermark. For some time, there has been talk of Windows 10X, a version for tablets and dual-screen systems, which Cortana will not integrate.
Little is known about this new version of the operating system and it has only been seen in some exhibitions. Cortana, Microsoft's built-in assistant, hasn't been very successful and most have it disabled. It seems that this feature will not be available in Windows 10X, but it does not seem that they will remove it from the full version of the operating system.

Windows 10X will arrive without the Cortana function
Microsoft's decision regarding its voice assistant is quite peculiar. They are known to be working on many improvements for the assistant, especially for use in companies. Removing it from this version of Window 10X, taking into account that it is for portable systems, is curious to say the least.
This information has been obtained thanks to a deep investigation that has been carried out in the application code. The Cortana code stops indicating a lack of compatibility with the Windows 10X operating system. We do not know if it is a final decision or if they are working on a broader integration.
Cortana has more and more presence as an assistant and its use has been plummeting. Focusing the attendee on the business segment can be a wise decision, since it may have more uses in that area. Microsoft considers that including the voice assistant in the version of the operating system for dual screens is absurd.
