Available WINE 5.10, which implements small new features and many minor fixes
Despite Microsoft's recent declaration of love for Linux and its various distributions, there's still a long way to go. Linux has yet to have as many features and tools as Windows 10. The WINE project aims to make Windows applications compatible with Linux distributions. WINE 5.10 has just been announced.
WINE are a set of development tools that allow porting the source code of Windows applications to Unix. It also has a software loader that allows Windows 8 backward applications to be run without modifying them on Unix operating systems such as macOS, BSD, GNU / Linux, and Solaris. Currently it also supports Windows 10 applications, but with restrictions.

The new WINE 5.10 version implements many small modifications and bug fixes. Within the added functions, we only find 6 new features. The progress of backed WineD3D Vulkan has also been followed up or the support of anti-cheat kernel drivers has been improved.
Additionally, it has been reported that WINE 5.10 has 47 bugs corrected and 397 changes have been implemented. The developer who has contributed the most has been Nikolay Sivov, who contributes 68 changes.

- Work started on UNIX library separates for NTDLL
- Improved support for anti-cheat kernel drivers
- More glyph substitutions in DirectWrite

If everything goes according to plan, next June 19 WINE 5.11 will be available. For this new version improvements are expected in the separate Unix library for NTDLL. Also, small new features and bug fixes are expected to be implemented.
