Microsoft tires of Edge and in 2019 they will implement a browser based on Chromium

It seems that Microsoft finally throws in the towel and Edge will load to implement a new browser that is based on Chromium.
Microsoft after many years of keeping Internet Explorer alive, possibly the worst browser in history, developed a new browser, completely new and lighter for Windows 10 and all the different versions of the company's operating system. This browser does not have much interest from the public because its predecessor was so badly bad that people went to Firefox or Chrome and went back, so it seems that the company wants to change it again.
Edge, Microsoft's browser, could have its days numbered due to its low use.
As indicated by the medium Windows Central exclusively, the company is working on getting rid of Edge for good. It seems that the company's developers are working on a browser that is based on Chromium, an open source project that serves as the basis for other agile and powerful browsers such as Opera, Brave or Google Chrome itself.
Currently this project in the final development phase is called 'Anaheim' and could be launched during the first half of 2019, who knows if within Microsoft's Build 2019 event. This is the final goodbye to Edge and the Redmond company's own browsers and is that despite completely redesigning the browser, renaming it and improving it, the stampede caused by IE has been so great and that browser was so bad, that people it already passes even to prove it.
The truth is that Edge has not conquered anyone and barely has a 4.2 percent share compared to the 65.5 percent share of Google Chrome, which has become the star browser due to the integration of the entire suite of Google services. And that is by no means perfect, since it is a RAM cannibal, but it works very well and has many useful extensions.
