NVIDIA GeForce 440.97 WHQL: Support for The Outer Worlds and Modern Warfare, in addition to fixing a large number of bugs

New NVIDIA GeForce 440.97 WHQL drivers are now available which add support for The Outer Worlds and Modern Warfare, as well as fix bugs.

Normally, when high-quality games are released, drivers are released that add support to these games. Basically what it offers you is an improvement in the performance of the system under this game. NVIDIA just announced the availability of the GeForce 440.97 WHQL drivers. Added native support for The Outer Worlds game, an action RPG with a more post-apocalyptic design, and for Modern Warfare.

So far the reviews of The Outer Worlds are quite positive. Perhaps the great downside of this game is that at the moment it is exclusive to the Epic Games Store and will continue until 2020. Of course, these drivers add other improvements and bug fixes are also added.

NVIDIA Releases New GeForce 440.97 WHQL Drivers

These new NVIDIA drivers allow the activation of G-Sync technology in applications and games launched in windowed mode that use OpenGL and Vulkan libraries. Another improvement added to these drives is the implementation of SLI profiles for Darwin Project and The Outer Worlds. Stop the case of this second game is only available for graphics cards that make use of the Turing architecture.

Additionally, the following bug fixes have been added. First of all, the fixation of the hang of the games FIFA 19 and FIFA 20 has been corrected. The flickering in the game Apex Legends has been corrected. Crashes in Star Wars: Battlefront II have also been fixed. Fixed flickering on the World of Warcraft character pick screen. Fixed the crash issue of Shadow of the Tomb Raider when using DirectX 12 taras certain error. Solved the color corruption of Forza Horizon 4. Finally, the problem of not activating the Boost mode on the GTX 970M graphics has been corrected.
