NVIDIA has announced the availability of the new GeForce 457.09 WHQL Game Ready drivers. These new drivers add support for Watch Dogs: Legion, DiRT 5, Ghostrunner, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and Xuan-Yuan Sword VII. They also add support for new monitors compatible with G-Sync technology and for the NVIDIA RTX 3070.

Fixed issues
- Turing - Notebook GPU: On some Turing-based laptops, users may see a black window when playing a video in a web browser.
- The game will crash on desktop when released on GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards.
- Random flickering may occur in multi-monitor setups when G-SYNC is activated.
- Flickering occurs on Dell S2417DG and Dell S2716DG monitors when playing YouTube or Twitch videos at 144 Hz.
- Forza Motorsport 7: The game may crash into the desktop when starting a race.
- Users can see a black screen when launching a game on a monitor using DSC (Display Stream Compression).
- G-SYNC: With G-SYNC turned on in some Freesync screens, half of the screen turns black.
Windows 7 problems
- Notebook - H-Clone: With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, the display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Windows 10 problems
- G-SYNC - NVIDIA Ampere Architecture: GPU power consumption may increase in idle mode on systems using certain higher refresh rate G-SYNC monitors.
- Freestyle / Ansel: After launching and closing Star Wars: Squadrons, Freestyle / Ansel stops working on supporting games.
- To work, reset the global NVIDIA Control Panel settings to 3D. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel> Manage 3D Settings page, select the Global Settings tab, click Restore and then Yes in the confirmation dialog.
- Freestyle - Vulkan Apps: With Freestyle Filters applied, a blue screen crashes when pressing [Alt + Tab] while running Vulkan applications.
- Warzone - RTX 30 Series: Users may see a drop in performance during gameplay.
- Sunset Overdrive: The game may show a random green corruption if the depth of field is activated from the game settings.
- Forza Motorsport 7: The curb may show a black stripe during a race on certain tracks.
- YouTube: Video playback stutters while scrolling the YouTube page.
- Notebook - RTX 2060: Laptop screen may flicker or turn black when Microsoft Hybrid Graphics is disabled.
- Notebook: Some Pascal-based notebooks with high-refresh rate displays may randomly drop to 60Hz during gaming.
