The new NVIDIA GeForce 460.79 WHQL Game Ready graphics drivers have been released. These new drivers arrive just in time for the launch of the most anticipated game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077. They add support for DLSS and RTX Ray Tracing technologies to the game. Additionally, new optimizations for Minecraft RTX are also included.
Fixed issues with artifacts appearing in certain races in Forza Motorsport 7. Additionally, the issue of RGB color shift to ycbcr422 on very specific screens when operating at a high refresh rate has been fixed. We leave you below all the updates that have been integrated into these drivers.

Fixed issues
- Forza Motorsport 7: The curb may show a black strip during a race on certain tracks.
- By setting the refresh rate higher than 100Hz, the color format changes from RGB to ycbcr422.
- GeForce RTX 3090 - SLI - G-SYNC: When G-SYNC is enabled in surround SLI (3x monitors), the system hangs when starting a game.
- GeForce RTX 3000 Series: NvAPI_GPU_GetGPUInfo () returns the wrong number of GPU Tensor cores.
- MPC-HC: Video player hangs when playing 1088 pixel wide videos.
- 5K Display: When the display is set to 5K resolution, you cannot configure the color settings from NVIDIA Control Panel> Change Resolution Page. The controls are dimmed or revert to the default value after applying any changes.
Known issues in Windows 10
- Steam VR Game: Stutters and lags occur when launching a game.
- G-SYNC - NVIDIA Ampere architecture: GPU power consumption may increase in idle mode on systems using certain higher refresh rate G-SYNC monitors.
- FreeStyle - Vulkan Applications: With Freestyle Filters applied, a blue screen crash occurs when pressing [Alt + Tab] while Vulkan applications are running.
- YouTube: Video playback stutters while scrolling YouTube page.
- Notebook: Some Pascal-based notebooks with high-refresh rate displays may randomly drop to 60Hz during gameplay.
- G-Sync - Vulkan Applications: Performance drop occurs when using G-SYNC and when switching from full-screen mode to windowed mode via game settings.
- To fix it, launch the game in windowed mode directly or disable G-SYNC.
- GeForce RTX 3070 - Clone Mode: When the resolution is set to 2560x1440 at 144Hz, the performance state is locked at maximum performance.
- NVIDIA Turing or later - Windows Movies and TV Player: When playing a 4K video in full screen mode on a 2560 × 1440 HDR monitor, the video extends beyond the edge of the screen.
