Opera GX, the curious gaming browser designed to play on platforms like Google Stadia
Developers of the Opera browser displays your browser Opera GX gaming, which would be specially designed for services like Google Stadia.
Web browsers have evolved considerably in recent years, thanks to the appearance of Firefox and Chrome. Edge, the Microsoft solution is not recovering lost ground because of the missing (thankfully) Internet Explorer. Currently there are hundreds of solutions, but Opera has developed a very interesting solution. Specifically, they have developed the Opera browser GX, A browser designed for gaming. For the gaming? Yes, they have created a very broad user interface that implements a gaming mode to run games. It is clearly designed for the gaming streaming.
GX Opera, a browser for games thinking about the cloud gaming
It has been created with a larger, more streamlined interface than other browsers. Something quite curious about Opera GX is that it allows you to modify the colors, being RGB, as with our PC hardware. The right area of the browser has icons, which simulate a gamepad, loading icon, timer, and a settings icon.
This browser seems that it is Google designed for Stadia and other potential gaming streaming services. An outstanding aspect is that it has a system to manage the bandwidth when we play on our computer. This allows us to adjust the bandwidth to the browser, giving priority over another software.
Little else is known. May in the future add a messaging system between users. Possibly in the future add-ons also like Twitch access channels or YouTube. For now we can play with colors and icons edge and subscribe to alert us when available. The truth is that the minimum preview of Opera GX we offer looks good and aims to be a very interesting browser.
