Paint is redesigned in its version of Windows 11

Even the classic Paint has received a redesign for Windows 11, to be more in line with the interface. Microsoft has unveiled it in a new series of promotional photos for Windows 11.

In a post on the Unsplash portal, Microsoft has presented a new Fluent Design approach to the Paint application interface, combining it with the new look of Windows 11. This change could be more focused to be able to be used more comfortably on tablets, touch screens and touch tablets.

A residence for the Paint that we have been using since we were children

With Microsoft pushing a new look for Windows 11 to make it much more modern, it is understandable that they wanted to apply the same design philosophy to the Paint drawing app. This ensures that it is also usable with your fingers and with drawing accessories.

From what has been seen, the redesign is focused on everything that is tactile, be it screens or touch pens; for creative content creators to use the app as a possible alternative to Photoshop-lite. The user interface looks cleaner after removing the old Ribbon interface that has been prevalent in previous versions of Paint and Office for some time.

The file size is also displayed at the bottom of the application, letting you know if the size of the image when exporting is low enough to upload to a certain site with certain file size limitations. With Windows 11 reaching Beta status on Insider channels, it seems like it's only a matter of time before we see this new look of Paint show up in builds for those who have signed up for the Insiders program. Now, it remains to be seen if your target audience will use it correctly, that is, children who are fiddling with their parents' computer and want to draw a picture to pass the time.
