The CORSAIR brand specializing in high-performance gear and systems for gamers, content creators, and PC enthusiasts, today announced that it is working with Signify to integrate Philips Hue smart lighting into CORSAIR iCUE. This will bring CORSAIR iCUE RGB customization and synchronization to the lighting of Philips Hue light bulbs and light strips.
Users can now control the lighting of the entire room with dynamic lighting effects and gradients. Thus, we are allowed to unify our gaming equipment, along with the lighting of the entire room.
CORSAIR and Philips team up for lighting like never before
This union will allow us control the lights Philips Hue directly from our desktop through CORSAIR iCUE in an incredibly simple and intuitive way. CORSAIR iCUE software recognizes the Philips Hue Bridge automatically. Just change the Philips Hue integration to «ON» in iCUE settings, and then a new Philips Hue tile appears on the iCUE home page. Thus, users will be able to program and personalize the light bulbs in the house that use Philips Hue, the light strips and other RGB lights.
As with all RGB devices compatible with CORSAIR iCUE software, Philips Hue compatible lights can be adjusted to lighting scenes. Rainbow Wave and Flashing Color are some of the most popular. They can be configured to react dynamically to key presses or system temperatures, in perfect sync with the rest of our RGB gear. Philips Hue lights can also alert you to notifications or react to internal prompts from compatible games. Completely custom lighting conditions can be created and add visual appeal to broadcasts, videos and games.
