QNAP introduces QVR Human 2.0, adding areal density function

QNAP Systems, Inc. today released version 2.0 of QVR Human. It is a people counting solution with new functions, such as the areal density analysis, event notification, heat map, and more. QVR Human provides statistics on the flow of traffic, which allows users to make better decisions for increase sales conversion rates, optimize staff schedules and improve the effectiveness of marketing and services.

Compared to using the same number of AI cameras or people counting, QVR Human performs counts and analysis at the server end. This offers profitability to both stores and organizations, in addition to users can also benefit from the flexibility of choose IP cameras that meet your needs and budget by being compatible with more than 6.700 ONVIF compliant models.

QNAP QVR Human 2.0 Main Features

QVR Human analyzes video streams from various sources, including RTSP servers, QVR Pro, and QVR Elite. Its compatibility with the area density function allows to calculate the level of density, establishing the upper limit of the number of people in a specific area. This function can be used as a notification if someone enters a prohibited area.

Its Line Crossing Count function detects the number of people who cross lines in one direction or another. can be defined up to four detection lines with straight lines or polygonal shapes for each channel.

Your event notification sends event notifications, such as exceeding the limit as shown in the previous paragraphs. You have the option of check all camera channels, detection lines and tasks created. Real-time people traffic statistics can be obtained from the control panel to better manage operations and the flow of people in the facilities.

It also allows you to view previous data on a graph or hot map in order to understand traffic trends. You can set filters based on certain dates and download reports as CSV files. Lastly, a Hailo-8™ module can be used to enhance AI performance, enabling highly efficient, accurate, and large-scale intelligent surveillance. with much lower running costs.

QNAP is going to offer one month free trial that includes two camera channels for Cross Line Count or Area Density tasks. Users can purchase a license plan to add more camera channels.
