Windows 10 May 2019 Update of problems with AMD Ryzen processors

Users are mostly reporting problems with Bluetooth and WiFi. Although the problems are more 'light' than what happened with the Windows 1809 version 10, is still a problem. Many will depend on WiFi connectivity, especially in laptops and Bluetooth can also be essential in the case of peripherals.

But it is not the only problem that this new update can generate. Computers with Ryzen and Threadripper could have headaches and crashes, as there would be compatibility issues between updates and RAID volumes. There is a simple solution to the problem, even if this problem appears it is a nuisance.

Before updating our operating system, we must have the latest AMD drivers installed. Once we have the drivers perfectly updated, we can proceed to update Windows. This will correct the problem and avoid crashes and other failures.

Ryzen and Threadripper users who have a RAID configuration should download the latest 9.2.0.105 driver. Regarding WiFi and Bluetooth problems, we must also update drivers before allowing the installation of Windows version 1903.

We recommend not installing any more Windows 10 updates as a precaution. It is better to wait a certain time, which is prudent, since we could find problems like these that give us many headaches.
