Microsoft would have updated Windows 11 without asking with a buggy update

The last optional update to Windows 11, which would be a preview version of Moment 3 (KB5026446), is causing problems for some users. This is because it comes with some bugs. And in some reported cases the update is being installed automatically, which adds more seriousness to the matter because some users could have it and without knowing it.
Windows Latest reports that You have experienced Windows 5026446 update KB11 installing automatically when checking for updates on the PC. Being an optional update and a preview, it is one that could contain issues, so ideally the user should have to manually activate the update.
A problematic Windows 11 update would install without the user knowing about it
Windows Latest notes that it has received user reports of this unexpected installation of Windows 5026446 version KB11. This has also been replicated on other sites online, stating that this has happened even if the user had not checked for OS updates.

Some of the problems that the Moment 3 Preview update is causing, are that it breaks the Microsoft Store, or it messes with Game Pass on PC so that the games cannot be played. These are the problems that are indicated after having discovered that you have that version. There are other reports that there are system crashes, that suddenly some apps no longer open, and some users' keyboards and mice don't work.
There have also been installation failures, with the usual meaningless error messages with hexadecimal strings that, when transcribed, say nothing or send errors. Although it seems that the latter is already more common in Windows 11 itself than in the KB5026446 version.
