We're still waiting for the launch of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Sony's most powerful phone, which looks like a worthy rival in the premium segment. But today we're looking at a mid-to-high-end device, almost high-end. The Sony Xperia X Ultra , a phablet with rather unusual dimensions, due to its size, much like the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.

In terms of design, the Sony style doesn't deviate much, maintaining fairly large top and bottom bezels. In this case, they've made an effort to reduce the side bezels and achieve a slightly wider screen. The screen stands out for its size, 6,45 inches to be exact, with a 1080 x 1920 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio , the format typically used for filming movies, but one that's not very common in the market, especially in mobile phones.
The chosen SoC is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 , paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage . This is sufficient for most users and falls within the standard range for the upper mid-range. It features a 19-megapixel main camera , reportedly incorporating the latest Sony technologies, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera . The battery is a modest 3.050 mAh , and it remains to be seen how well it will perform with this screen size. It does, however, support Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. Rumors suggest it may come with IP68 certification , making it water and dust resistant. All of this runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
