Sunless Skies gets all the necessary financing on KickStarter in less than four hours

Sunless Skies from Failbetter Games, has obtained all the necessary financing for its development in just four hours, something that is truly spectacular.

The latest title from the Failbetter Games company, called Sunless Skies, which is the sequel to the popular game Sunless Sea. This game to finance itself, has been put on KickStarter And he has achieved an incredible achievement, obtaining the necessary funding in about four hours. The financing in less time is Pebble's record, with its Time smartphone, achieving it in about 17 minutes. It is not a historical record on the platform, but for a video game, getting all the financing you would need in such a short time is impressive.

Sunless Skies is the second part of Sunless Sea, a title that is based on the exploration of 'roguelike' elements, which at the time was already a success on the KickStarter platform, which I think left the public wanting more. The new installment, Sunless Skies, we will have the mission of piloting the aircraft, in which we will travel through the sky and we will have to go around different obstacles and enemies.

Within the game we can live many stories. At the beginning of the game we will choose a captain who will command the ship. If, at any given moment, we die, crash, or are destroyed, we can retake the story with the same captain we were using or go back to the world with a new captain. If we choose the same captain that we had, we would follow the story in a not the same line, but quite similar and if we change the captain, we would face a new story.

Those who are interested in contributing a little capital to the game, it will be open for a month, practically. Those who want to, can support the development and thus get a serial of the game or one of the achievements that interests us the most. There is no date for this game to be finished or if development has already started, but it will be available on Mac, PC and Linux platforms once its development is complete.
