Super Mario will accompany us for a week on Google Maps

The Google Maps application allows you to change the icon to Mario in your car, to commemorate Mario's Day, but it will be available for a very limited time, specifically, a single week.

A very useful application that we all tend to use is Google Maps, which is not only useful for moving around, but also for finding different places to eat, shops, entertainment venues and endless possibilities. To celebrate Mario's Day, the adorable plumber created by Nintendo, they have created a complete interface that is presented with the phrase 'Oh yeah! Mario Time '. On the occasion of this day, they have implemented the mythical character within the message application.

As with the ships of Star Wars, for a few days we can select Mario as an icon, with his mythical vehicle, to appear on the screen for as long as we are using the application. It is not the only thing added, since the developers have specified that there are more easter eggs, specifically sound, which will be played as the funny plumber performs certain actions.

This option will only be available for a few days, specifically a week, within Google Maps, which is a shame, since it would be great if it lasted much longer, in the Maps versions of Android and iOS. In addition to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens special event, we've also seen it with other mythical fictional characters, such as Ms. Pac-man, who are usually available for a fairly limited time.

We would love for these 'add-ons' to stay forever and we can choose from a variety of possibilities. The only thing left is to enjoy it while it lasts.
