100 Ethereum miners subtract in Iceland, with six graphs, each
A total of 100 Ethereum miners are robbed in Iceland, with 600 graphics cards in total, which have not been found and which have a value, only in hardware, of more than two million dollars.
During the last months we have witnessed the creation of different software specialized in cryptocurrency mining. We have seen how they have even integrated a Monero miner within Tesla servers or how CoinHive has been installed on many movie download pages. The latest has been the most brutal that we have heard so far and it is that apparently one hundred special systems for mining cryptocurrencies have been stolen, apparently for Ethereum, according to the information that reaches us.
One hundred systems with six graphics cards each have been stolen in Iceland. This means that in total 600 graphics cards have been stolen, at least, along with a hundred processors, a hundred RAM memories and a hundred memory kits, for the specific mining of Ethereum, so we are talking about a theft of millions of dollars.
Vizier and The Associated Press, these aforementioned components have been stolen by a group of Icelandic thieves who have already been arrested. It seems that the police have done the job well and have found the eleven people who would have stolen the systems and at least two have been detained, but there is the problem that the equipment for mining cryptocurrencies has not yet been found .
These thefts took place between the end of December and the beginning of January and were recorded by the surveillance cameras of Advania. The company allowed clients access to see the mining equipment for Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency, so the thieves knew the facilities perfectly. The systems have been valued at at least two million dollars, not counting all the money lost when the systems were down.
Olafur Helgi Kjartansson, Police Commissioner, has said that 'this is a robbery on a scale never seen before'. He also adds: 'Everything indicates that it is a highly organized crime'

quite an expensive robbery, but with the millions I think you've been quite freaked out …… have you ever seen a miner with 1080? Never. the graphs used are about 500 euros on average.
600×500=300.000. The RAM on those computers is neither the latest generation nor do they have ridiculous amounts of RAM. An average of 100 euros each computer. (And that seems like a lot of RAM to me) 600×100=60.000. Do you think the processors are I7 d 1000 euros??? No way. They use cheap AMD, let’s say 150 euros per computer 600×150=90.000. Power supplies 600×40=24.000. Motherboards another 100 euros on average. 600×100=60.000 TOTAL: 534.000 euros….. up to “several million” imagine if you have slipped…..((I have done the calculations for 600 teams…as I see they only stole 100, please explain your accounts that give several million))
Some, especially Marco's, which is based on GTX 1080 Ti
do the math... even with a 1080 TI and €250 motherboards, you'd end up with €800.000. With 100 stolen machines, up to €2 million. Explain it to me. (What model of the 1080 TI are you saying the one in the photo is?) In fact, I just found another news source that says the TOTAL of 3 different thefts doesn't reach €1,9 million. But we're talking about 3 thefts, not one of 100 machines, and they also forgot to mention that the thieves were captured... Not to mention that the Antminer S9, the most powerful miner on the market, costs $2000, which times 100, is $200.000.
I'm not going to deny that maybe he went too far with the "millions" thing, but it's possible that he also refers to potential money, that is, the money that those 100 miners would have generated. I'm not very knowledgeable about mining and I don't know how much can be made, but I think that's what he was referring to.
I answer you, I use a 13x1080ti * 900 = 11700 machine only in graphics. Let's add 300 more of ram board and CPU. and 1000 more than 3 power supplies TOTAL 13.000 Euros of machine.
Multiply by 100 to see the numbers come out. That ami I get 1.300.000, Mind that they have less graphics per rig or cheaper components to buy in bulk.
If the accounts come out
